Some super mom… I guess it’s been almost 2 months since I blogged last, but a lot has happened in those two months. Most exciting of all is that the Custer family began the process of buying a home!! It started off as stressful we had to get all kinds of paperwork together in order for the Army to grant the kids and I and ERD (Early return of dependents) which still isn’t fully complete, but everything has been turned in so there is no point in stressing now. We put an offer in on a house this week and so I am super excited. I should know in a week or two when Branden and I are officially home owners!! I am very excited to get back to Texas, but then there is the stress of moving… why did I not re-think my picture hanging methods?? Now I have 7000 holes to fill in. Well, it’s almost good that I have so many things going on because this week Branden also left for NTC (National Training Center) for a month in CA. This is in preparation for his upcoming deployment to Afghanistan, which is the main reason why the kids and I are going back to Texas. I really do not want to be here on this island, so far away from friends and family, for a year while my husband is off at war. I might as well be setting up our home so that he has a beautiful loving place to come home to.

So while my blogging might be sporadic over the next few months, know that I am doing planty of super-mom type things like explaining to the kids why daddy isn't home, or packing the house, or ordering a flat daddy (sooooo cool http://flatdaddies.com/ ) or other things of that nature.
